UniqCast, a global leader in IPTV and OTT video delivery solutions, is looking for a talented and motivated System Engineer to join our Project Delivery and Integrations Team. This role is vital to the successful rollout of UniqCast software and service infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployments and integrations in diverse client environments.

Department: Project Delivery and Integrations
As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, supporting, automating, and managing UniqCast’s software and service infrastructure during the project delivery phase. You will also be involved in the integration of core and third-party systems, such as VoD ingest services, CRM platforms, billing systems. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure stability, compatibility, and performance of delivered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, support, automate, and manage our IPTV/OTT platform and related service infrastructure,
- Install and configure UniqCast software in internal and client environments,
- Participate in integration of internal and external systems, such as VoD ingest services, CRM, billing, monitoring platforms,
- Automate and document repeatable tasks using scripts or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible),
- Monitor infrastructure health and system behavior during integration and rollout phases,
- Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, networking, integrations, or infrastructure dependencies,
- Collaborate with DevOps, Support, Software Development and QA to prepare environments and support technical handovers,
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery and integration procedures,
- Maintain accurate documentation for integration scenarios, system configurations, and best practices.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent knowledge of Linux systems (through self-learning or job experience),
- Experience with Docker and orchestration systems,
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, routing, firewalls, DNS),
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or virtualized environments (AWS, VMware, etc.),
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, or Node.js),\
- Experience with VoD ingest, content processing, or video platform integration is a strong plus,
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SSO protocols, or messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a bonus,
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible),
- Proactive and structured approach to problem-solving,
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
